Josh & Rachel got married on a perfect spring day in May. Andrew and I woke up bright and early to make the trek up to Minooka a few hours north of Peoria, and I told him the entire way about how special Josh & Rachel are, and how fun this day was going to be. After having an engagement session full of laughter and great conversation with them at Starved Rock last fall, I had learned a lot about them and their story. They are absolutely perfect for each other and both so genuinely kind and caring, both for each other and for everyone around them.
The antlers decorating the head table at the reception were from Josh’s grandfather’s fallow deer farm. Josh’s wedding ring is also partially made from antlers, which is obviously awesome.
I couldn’t stop smiling the entire day, even at the end of the night when we were driving back to Peoria. So much love to you, Rachel and Josh – we wish you both the very best and I’m so happy that our paths crossed.
