Patrick and his brother Luke are so sweet. I loved meeting them and their parents when I went to their house to take Patrick’s six month photos. Patrick has the most gorgeous blue eyes! I loved all of Luke’s expressions … the way Rachel smiles when she’s looking at Patrick … this session was a dream for me. I also added one photo in this blog post that was completely unplanned, unposed, and natural – Luke’s dad reading to him while Patrick was having pictures taken. This photo truly captures what I love about lifestyle photography. It is a sweet, real moment in time … a fleeting moment that upon viewing a few years down the road will trigger all of the scents, sounds, emotions of being the parent of a young child … Something completely unlike any other experience in life.
Forgive my sentimentality, but it’s true.
