at long last, with great excitement, i give you maggie & dave’s wedding! this was the first wedding that andy and i got to shoot as ‘sharon guillotte photography’ – and that’s a little bit of a big deal to us! i can’t begin to explain how fortunate we are to have maggie & dave as our first wedding clients. they are so laid back and relaxed and fun to be around, we had a great time the entire day. maggie did an absolutely amazing job with all of the details!
maggie had planned an outdoor ceremony with a dinner following the ceremony on the deck at mt. hawley country club. due to the rain, the ceremony had to be moved indoors. however, our luck quickly turned around as we were blessed with beautiful weather for after-ceremony photos! the light and cloudshapes were amazing. the dinner was held on the deck as planned, complete with a beautiful double rainbow.
maggie’s two sons colton and logan were the adorable ring-bearers. i loved every element of their outfits, from their seersucker jackets to their grey toms on their feet. the happiness that was radiating was maggie and dave all day was beautiful to see – and it reminded me of why this is the best job in the world.
this post is part one of their wedding … from getting ready to post-ceremony photos. i am going to post part two in the near future. there are a few reasons for this. one is that there are so many photos that i love from their day, it is hard to pick only enough for one post. the other reason is that since they are my first wedding, i want to show off their beautiful photos to give other potential wedding clients plenty of examples of the work that andy & i do.
