It’s Libby & Mark’s one year anniversary! Inevitably, my weddings during busy season don’t make it to the blog (which is such a shame and kills me), because I’m so busy keeping up with my editing timelines. I am so close to being caught up at the moment, that I wanted to take the chance to blog this beautiful wedding on Libby & Mark’s anniversary.
From our initial e-mails back and forth, I could tell that photography was extremely important to Libby, which made me super excited. Some people feel like photography is just a necessary part of the day, that it is just one more box to tick, but not Libby. She worked with me to create art in her photographs, by allowing enough time in the timeline and providing me with enough creative freedom to truly capture her vision for her wedding photos. It was a complete joy to work with her, Mark, and their family & friends. Throughout the course of time before the wedding, from our initial meeting to their engagement session (and later a family session with their sweet cat, Moira), Mark and Libby became my friends, something that’s invaluable to me.
